WE DEVELOPED OUR OWN MARINE GRADE SPECIFIC FILM
Most generic wrap shops use thin automotive grade 3M or Avery 3.2-3.4 mils film which not only fades over time, but is super thin, scratches easy, and realistically only last 3 years. If black then only 6 months. Our film is specifically designed to be more UV stable, self annealing, and is much thicker at 6.5-8 mils thick making it much more impact resistant,. This also pushes out its lifetime to 10+ years(5 for black).

Sydney Boat Wraps is a subsidiary of Orange County Boat Wraps. Our company has been in the Marine industry for 22 years and has a team who has been installing vinyl films for over 15 years. We don't do vans, or cars, and specialize only in Marine Vessels. We are boat people so we know marine educate and have a specific working knowledge with films on boats.
WHY A WRAP vs PAINT?

Paint jobs are typically 3X the cost of wrap. For instance if you had a 30' boat, that would be $40k-$50k to paint the hull, where a wrap could run $8-$12k the hull.

Most boats can be wrapped in a matter of days compared to weeks for traditional painting and also wrapped legally in the water. Boats can not legally be sanded or painted while in the water. Not having to hull out saves considerable time and money.

Wraps longevity ranges, from brands, colors, to applications. Some films can last up to 7 years without constant direct sunlight, like on the side of a hull.

Vinyl wraps not only change the appearance but can also protect and seal the original jet coat underneath.
